About The Seminar
The Seminar begins with an Introduction to Fermenting that explains what fermenting actually is, how it is not food spoilage, and why it is such a powerful addition to a healthy diet. We will briefly cover fermenting history and talk about digestive health in order to provide an understanding of the importance of fermented food in a healthy diet.
Students will gain a firm grasp of fermenting theory and technique, and will leave fully prepared to create functional fermented food at home. The Seminar is appropriate for beginners and health care practitioners, and everyone in between. |

The Functional Fermenting Seminar has been approved for 6 Tier I CEUs from the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (nanp.org) and the Nutritional Therapy Association (NutritionalTherapy.com).
